Many of you know that we served in China for three years (2013-2016) and last summer we moved to Hong Kong to serve an international congregation. We have been waiting for our employment visa approval this entire time. While we have been faithfully serving, we've also been sensing that our time in Asia may be ending soon. Last week, we learned our visa application was officially denied. For years we have been faithfully fasting from our families, close friendships, and the support we now need to raise a daughter with special needs. After four years of service in Asia, we are thrilled to see God leading our family back home. Several weeks ago, God gave us the wisdom and insight to see what was happening. He gave us the courage to make a hard decision. After much prayer and seeking wisdom from godly counsel, we made the decision to return to Alabama in the spring of 2017. This season of fasting will soon come to an end. As we reflect on this privilege of serving in China and again in Hong Kong, we are so grateful for those who have sent us - prayed for us - supported us - missed us - and sacrificed with us. The journey has been worth it and we trust that lives have been touched in Jesus' name.
